uliette Verne is undoubtedly one of Australia’s most accomplished dancers and choreographers. Having earned herself an international reputation of the highest standard, Juliette and her company J-Foxx Entertainment have been stamping their trademark style all over the entertainment world.

Juliette started dancing at 5 years old in Sydney, left Australia when she was 21 to train at New York’s most elite dance schools. She received dance scholarships to Broadway Dance Center, Steps and the famous Alvin Ailey School of Dance in New York. Juliette Verne is one of the few diversely skilled dancers and has trained with the most reputable teachers in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary and specializing in Hip-Hop and Lyrical styles.

While in New York Juliette was privileged to work alongside America’s leading choreographers, whose client list boasts superstars such as Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Christina Aguilera, Will Smith, Salt N Pepper and more! Juliette was selected to dance with rapper Freedom Williams (C & C Music Factory) giving her the opportunity to work with famous choreographer A.C. This set her on tour throughout the USA and Canada where she performed on the popular music TV station BET, the world famous classic TV dance shows Soultrain and at the Apollo Theatre in Harlem, NY.

Juliette was chosen to be a New York Knicks Cheerleader, proudly performing at Madison Square Garden! Juliette was an American National Competition Finalist for the legendary TV show Star Search and is proud to have been a world famous Rockette at Radio City Music Hall N.Y. Juliette also toured Europe, hitting beautiful cities such as Paris, Monte Carlo and Tokyo where she performed with Vanessa Williams, Elton John, Liza Minelli, Rod Stewart and the Gypsy Kings. Her musical credits include Starlight Express in Germany, Grease “The Arena Spectacular”, A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum, Pan, Get Happy and Lion King (original Australian cast). Juliette was cast as a Can Can dancer on the multi award winning movie Moulin Rouge choreographed by John O’Connel and directed by Baz Luhrmann.

Excited and inspired by her international experiences, Juliette returned to Australia to launch her company J-Foxx Entertainment Pty Ltd (www.j-foxx.com). J-Foxx has become the leading producer of Corporate and Hip Hop dance entertainment in Australia and is well respected in both the dance and corporate world. Their client list includes prestigious companies such as Vodafone, Reebok, Sony, Mercedes Benz, Elizabeth Arden, ING, Commonwealth, BMW, Coca-Cola and Berocca.

Juliette choreographed for Australian Idol winner Guy Sebastian’s performance at the Aria Awards and went on to choreograph for Guy’s successful “Beautiful Life” Australian tour. She also choreographed for Sony Music duo, Shakaya for the Destiny’s Child tour and video clip “Are You Ready”, USA recording artist with Jive Record’s Samantha Jade for the Urban Music Awards and for USA hip-hop star Chingy on his Australian tour. Other choreography credits includes Deni Hines “Pull Up To My Bumper”, “Stomp” with Marcia Hines and Deni Hines, Cherry “SOS” single, Joanne’s “Jackie” and other projects including Fox Fire IV @ Rumba, fashion shows for labels One Teaspoon, Wish, Bonds, Backstage and Swarovski, a rock musical “Buskers & Angels” written by Jon English and Nikki Bennett’s “Diamonds, Divas and Dolls” Cabaret Shows. Juliette is also the Resident Choreographer for a classy cabaret show at the Russian Coachman Restaurant in Sydney. Juliette also performed at world event, Sydney 2000 Olympics Opening and Closing with Kylie Minogue and at the Opera House with Vanessa Amorosi. Juliette is also one of the most profiled judges invited to panel at major dance competitions and events across Australia.

Juliette’s successful experiences and knowledge in dance led her to open up a diverse dance school in 2006, Urban Dance Centre Pty Ltd NFP, specialising in current styles of dance like Hip-Hop and Break Dance as well as providing the fundamentals of dance like Jazz, Ballet and Contemporary. Urban Dance Centre’s variety of styles and the calibre of teachers attract students from across Australia and New Zealand as well as hosting exclusive international workshops!

Juliette featured as Choreographer, Judge and Choreographic Consultant for ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ Australia and currently teaches at Urban Dance Centre, Glebe.
