Douglas Blaikie

Director/Producer/Founder of Urban Dance Centre/Acting
Douglas Blaikie, founder and director of Urban Dance Centre & J-Foxx Entertainment. An eclectic multi-skilled actor who has performed in a broad range of successful plays and musicals, including:

  • Merchant of Venice
  • Mojo
  • Pirates of Penzance
  • Pan
  • Mistero Buffo

And appearing in movies such as: The Three Stooges, Solo, plus numerous TV series and commercials.

Always performing diverse roles and genres, Douglas constantly leaves audiences astounded by his remarkable performances and chameleon portrayals of the characters he plays.  He graduated from Australia’s National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) with a Bachelors degree in Dramatic Arts (Acting) and while successfully working as a performer created and founded J-Foxx Entertainment and Urban Dance Centre with his partner Juliette Verne.

A highly intelligent, articulate performer and astutely clever teacher, Douglas Blaikie is an experienced, inspiring and motivational mentor.
