A Nationally Recognised Training Organisation (NTIS 91481) Urban Dance Centre offers a fully accredited 1 year Certificate IV in Performing Arts fulltime course (69818).

Urban Dance Centre has an all-star faculty, uniting Australia’s finest industry professionals including Juliette JET Verne, Tiana Joubert and Jason Winters. You will be guided toward success in all areas of the performing arts – ACTING, SINGING with the main focus on DANCE. Learn what it takes to be part of the professional dance industry and be a triple threat of the new generation!

Our goal is to encourage you to develop your skills by embracing your passion for the performing arts. Urban Dance Centre is committed to excellence and the continued improvement of Australian entertainment.

DANCE Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Acrobatics, Break Dance, Pilates, JFH, Kicks/Turns/Jumps, Performance

ACT Acting techniques, TV and film skills, stage dynamics, monologues and presenting techniques

SING Vocal and audition techniques, harmonies, microphone technique, musical theatre/pop/jazz/RnB styles, performance skills

As well as the above subjects, we will prepare you for your career with performance experience, mock auditions and preparation, agent’s week, headshots and CV preparation, nutritional advice, individual tutorials and you can benefit from our onsite physiotherapist.

UDC Cabaret Night @ UDC ‘Come to the cabaret old chum’ at UDC on the 25th September for a great night out. Doors open at 7:00pm for nibblies and drinks. At 7:30pm a live cabaret show will be performed by our very own fulltimers and youth. $15.00 for 18+ years and $10.00 for under 18 years, raising money for UDC’s end of year performance. UYP WINS LOOZE CONTROL!

A huge congratulations to Urban Youth Project for taking out first place in the Youth Section at Looze Control on Saturday. UDP also performed extremely

well and we are very proud of both crews. A huge thank you to Rosa Agius for

her amazing choreography and ofcourse Sandra Schiller for all her help with her impressive costumes. Well done guys!! Also big congrats to our very own James Barry (JB) whose crew Phly WON Looze Control!!!! Check out JB’s class on Thursday nights 7.30-9pm to learn all his moves.

What an inspiring weekend at Sydneys Town Hall last weekend for Australian Dance Festival. Jam packed with live performances, competitions, workshops and exhibits for everyone! Did you visit UDC’s Booth #23? UDC represented with our faculty workshops Tiana, Rosa, Ilona, Don, Alvin and Jason Winters! Our wonderful Youth guided by Veronica, danced and broke the Hairspray World Record, Juliette “Jet” Verne judged the Solo Dance Around the World Competition, UYP and UDP performed at Sundays showcase and so much more…..
