May 2009 saw the introduction of the Chance to Dance program which initially was in conjunction with South Sydney Youth Services and has since opened up to incorporate more young people. The aim of the program is to access young people who otherwise due to socio-economic factors would not be able to participate in dance classes.

oung people on this program mostly come from the Aboriginal community but all cultural backgrounds are welcomed. These young people have had the opportunity to perform alongside students from:

1. Urban Dance Centre
2. The Barefoot Footy Show
3. Redfern Family Culture Day and also at their own youth centres.
